What Printing Costs at Perenna

I'm Roop Chhoker, and I run the studio at Perenna. Here is how I price printing for artists and photographers, so you can work out the cost of a print before you send a file.

Standard sizes

• 8 x 10 in: $14
• 8 x 12 in: $14
• 11 x 14 in: $22
• 12 x 18 in: $28
• 16 x 20 in: $40
• 16 x 24 in: $48
• 18 x 24 in: $55
• 20 x 30 in: $75
• 24 x 36 in: $105

Any other size

Any other size up to 44 inches wide is $18 per square foot, with a $14 minimum. To work out a price, multiply the width by the height in inches, divide by 8 and round to the nearest dollar. Dividing by 8 works out the same as $18 per square foot. Some examples:

• 12 x 12 in: $18
• 11 x 17 in: $23
• 20 x 20 in: $50
• 24 x 24 in: $72
• 30 x 40 in: $150
• 40 x 60 in: $300

All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Copies and rush orders

10 or more copies of the same image are 15% off, and 25 or more are 20% off. If you need prints by the next business day, rush orders are 25% extra, as long as your files are approved and paid for by 12 PM and I have room that day.

Paper

I print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308, a 100% cotton matte paper, with Canon pigment inks on a 44-inch Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-4600. If you use a different paper, I can order it in and quote it by email. Ordering a paper adds about a week.

Free test print

If you haven't printed with me before, I'll make a free test print of one image, up to 8 x 12 in at its own proportions, so you can see the paper and colour in person.

Turnaround, pickup and shipping

Prints are ready 3 business days after your files are approved and payment is received. You can pick them up free at the studio, 380 Alliance Ave, Unit 112, Toronto, or I can ship them within Canada by Canada Post at cost.
